Sergi Estebanell has more than 15 years of experience in the theatre field, focusing his research in the area of street theater, humor and the use of unconventional spaces.

He has created, directed and acted in over 30 productions, which have traveled to over 25 countries.

He is director, producer and actor of several companies specializing in street theater and humor, as well as site-specific gender and new playwrights, with companies like Wandering Orchestra, with the show called also Wandering Orchestra; coLabse, with which he has created and directed the play Mesa para 2 (Table for two); Fadunito (www.fadunito.com), with which he has worked in the productions Adopted and +75; and Eléctrico 28 (www.zwischendentassen.at), an Austrian-Catalan company specializing in site-specific with your piece Zwischen den Tassen (Between Cups). In all, he has traveled around the world and has performed in the most prestigious festivals of street theater.

In addition, he is co-founder of Kamchatka (www.kamchatka.cat), a street theater company that has performed over 350 performances in over 27 different countries. He has participated as an actor and co-creator in all his shows: Kamchàtka, Habitaculum and Fugit.

 

He also directed and acted in indoor theatre, both in Spain, with the company LaBanda and its work Invisibles, as in France, with the French-Argentina company Théâtre Organic, with whom he has worked on the show Le Langage des cravates (Tongues Ties) (http://theatre-organic.com/accueil/), directed by Sophie Gazel, which was scheduled in Tarantantana theatre (Barcelona) and also on tour in France. He has also co-directed and acted in the show Call Me Maria, a proposal of nouveau cirque, with Adrian Schvarzstein, which was scheduled at the Teatre Grec Festival in Barcelona. He founded the Festival of Contemporary Creation of Barcelona ESCENA POBLENOU (www.escenapoblenou.com), which has already held up fifteen editions. On the other hand, he worked as artistic director, clown and trainer for the organization of hospital clowns Pallapupas (www.pallapupas.org), in Barcelona. As a trainer, currently Sergi provides training for various European entities of hospital clowns, linked to Rotenasen entity (www.rotenasen.at), as well as other workshops on street theater and clown.

Victor Gracia has a Degree in Management and Marketing. Self-motivated for design, aesthetics and the need of communication and connection between people, he focused his career towards the field of advertising and events.

This is how he worked for Marketing to Arts (M2A), a communication agency that took part in the development and creation of VEO Festival (Valencia Escena Oberta). There he was able to know how are the productions of Performing Arts and the organization of international festivals and, at the same time, he also met the artists needs of expression and humanity and that’s what really won him over.

After five years collaborating with VEO Festival, he started his path in street arts as a Road Manager, working with different companies, traveling with them and facilitating their work at international festivals around Europe. He has worked with prestigious companies as Leandre Ribera, Claire Ducreux or Los2Play, becoming their “angel”.

He participated in the creation of the International Circus Festival – Ciudad de Albacete in its first two editions. In recent years he has taken part in different street arts and circus projects, practising as Creative Manager and European tours organizer for Murmuyo and Metrayeta, David Moreno&Cia or Colectivo Circo 9.8.

OBSIDIANA ‘s role is to be the facilitator, a fellow traveler in a creative process that starts with a shapeless idea and culminates in a show that can be enjoyed by the public. Along the way, we develop tasks of pre-production, production, fundraising, administration, logistics organization, communication, sales and distribution… Ultimately, we coordinate all what the public does not see during the enjoyment of a show.
